I'm Alexis Ayala, but I like Big Lexi for short. Part of being Big Lexi is having an authentic, always me personality, which means being outgoing and always being able to make someone smile.

My passion is people. I love how dynamic each individual is, but also how intertwined everybody really is, so broadcasting felt like the perfect fit. There are unique qualities that storyteller's possess, like empathy and layering. In the packages that I've reported, shot, edited and produced, I'm always looking for the "Human Condition" aspect of the story, the part that an audience latches onto. Because at the end of the day, we all have a different story to tell, but everyone who's telling it wants to be heard, and I take it very personally that I'm the one being trusted to tell it.

When the day winds down, and I have a moment to myself, I spend time with my dog, Blue and get myself excited about tomorrow.
